With another long weekend of Premier League football done and dusted. It’s Chelsea who come out with the most gained at the top of the Premier League. The Blues cam wrap up the title on Friday night with a victory at West Brom. Last night also saw Middlesbrough join North East neighbours Sunderland to be relegated to The Championship. Sunderland had put already seemingly given ‘Boro a lifeline by beating relegation rivals Hull 2-0 on Saturday. The Tigers problems further hampered by Swansea beating Everton 1-0 in the teatime kick off. Burnley’s share of the spoils in a 2-2 draw with West Brom further enhanced their chances of safety. In the race for a Champions League spot, it was very much advantage to Man City as ran comfortable 5-0 winners against Crystal Palace. Liverpool dropped vital points on Sunday drawing 0-0 at home to Southampton with Saints keeper Fraser Forster saving a James Milner penalty. The big clash on Sunday saw Arsenal put themselves well and truly back in the frame with a 2-0 victory against Man United. Goals from Granit Xhaka and former red Danny Welbeck giving Arsenal a well needed 3 points.
