Following rumours it is now being reported that Asmir Begovic looks to be on the move with a £10m fee reportedly being agreed between Chelsea and Bournemouth.
Bournemouth have agreed a fee with Chelsea over the transfer of Asmir Begovic.
A price of around £10million has been settled on, and Begovic is expected to agree personal terms ahead of a medical later this week. Daily Mail
Begovic has spent most of his Chelsea career playing 2nd fiddle to Thibaut Courtois, so it comes as no surprise the Bosnian is being linked with a move away. It must be frustrating being 2nd choice, however that’s how the life of a goalkeeper can often be. The former Portsmouth and Stoke stopper did enjoy some first action last season due a long term injury suffered by Courtois, but has this year only been called upon to make 2 league appearances with the 2nd coming on Monday night against Watford, and a few in cup competitions.
So what do Chelsea fans think? Is it time to let him go to further his career and who can the club bring into replace him?
The Bosnian had been a target for the Cherries in the January transfer window before the deal fell through, but he’s seemingly back on their radar again ahead of the summer. The Metro
